...it can get pretty fascist in here...

Okay, so here's what is going on. The software I've written my blog in is buggy. It's a memory hog, and it tends to crash without warning. This is unacceptable, but the nice thing is, I don't really need to run it have it running constantly. If I take a static copy of the dynamic page after I make an update, I can serve that up, plain old .html style.

Which is what I'm doing now. The problem with that is, I have to manually run that script. I need to change this. Anyways, thanks for your patience, check out my gallery, enjoy the Ireland pics, and await a big update in about a week.

In the meantime enjoy this little graphic I ripped off of some guy, who ripped it off of Don Hertzfeld

It's 8:40, I need to get to work. I got 3 hours of sleep last night, apparently it's an Irish tradition to get whammed Thursday nights.

Longer test post title here are my random quotes and other amusements.

Ah, the sweet smell of the honeymoon being over. So apparently Turbogears, the toolkit I'm using to build this new blog shits the bed whenever it loses the database connection. Not something you want from a robust web framework. Hopefully the work around I found will hold.

Ugh, I just loving having to patch someone elses C code, that honestly didn't do anything wrong

Anyways here's what I have left to do.

  • Find a color scheme that doesn't look so bland
  • Write the frontend, so I don't have to post through CatWalk
  • Add the image/icon dohicky
  • Work some CSS magick and get that background integrated

Oh yeah, watch this.

All that needs to be said
